Sneaky Sneaky

Lunch is my catch-up time. After I make lunch for the kiddos I usually check my email, respond to blog posts, make phone calls and do other administrative tasks around my kitchen. Well, the other day I guess I got caught up in playing catch-up. I turned around in my kitchen and found this…

Yes, she is sitting on the bar, eating potato chips out of the bag, and yes she is only two years old. At least her dress matches the bag….

Happy Birthday – Peyton turns 4

It’s hard to believe our sweet pea is four years old today…

Your big sister waited ten years for you…

By the time you were eight months old you had lived through four hurricanes, but you didn’t seem to mind….

We found out that you love the beach…

and the pool…

and playing dress up…

picking flowers…

animals…

sometimes you even like to get dirty…

You have brought such joy into our lives, we love you sweetie

Happy Birthday!

Locks of Love

If you are looking for a different way spread some love on Valentine’s Day how about getting a haircut? There are many organizations that accept donated hair and use it to make wigs for people with cancer or other diseases that cause hair loss. It is also a great way to teach our young ladies about giving to those who are in need. Some salons will give you the haircut for free if you are donating the hair. Don’t forget to check with the organization in order to meet their requirements for hair donation.
